Rasterize selection 🖼️ from Figma/Ai

Overlord does a pretty great job rebuilding art as shape layers in After Effects, and it can even import images and build text layers (with styling) –actions that the native import cannot do. Sooner or later you will probably run into an element that Ae just can't draw; it would be great if Overlord could simply export a selection as an image so you could get back to work. 🤔

Overlord 2.5.0 can now rasterize selected shapes as a 2x sized PNG and import into Ae just like any other layer.

Not just one layer, any selected layers.

What could only be drawn in Ai with grids and textures can now be transferred to Ae as PNG

This means a complex set of elements (backgrounds, icons, masking, patterns, etc) may be simplified down to a single image layer. Select what you need and rasterize as you work.

Remember that not everything in you work with in After Effects will need to have every property animated. So lighten up those timelines with images.

Overlord v1 compatibility with CC2025

Even though we aren't adding new features to v1 we will do our best to continue supporting it as long as possible. With the recent release of Ae 2025, many users found their buttons stopped working.

How much is this magic gonna cost me?

Overlord 2 is $75.00 USD. Licenses come with one year of feature updates, so purchases after Feb 4, 2024 unlock v2 and selection rasterizing. If you purchased Overlord more than a year ago, renew your license to get access to all the new stuff, plus another year of feature updates.

Or pick up a brand new copy of Overlord. To keep things simple, new purchases and renewals are the same price.
